it is fun. I will add to that - that it is theraputic also.
Thanks for the response AK-Jeff. That's an interesting thought process; hopefully you will meet with success.

Moshe:
I don't think I'm totally understanding your post, but I will try to answer your questions.
Jehovah has seen all the WT doctrinal flip flops, false prophecies, innocent deaths from WT medical rules, KH protected pedophiles, etc and:
A: He saw it and doesn't care
Perhaps
B: He saw it and does care, but can't do anything about it
Perhaps.
C: God didn't see anything, doesn't care and can't do anything
Perhaps
However, again, I don't construe things as narrowly as you. I submit:
Perhaps he sees it, and intends on doing something about it in the future? Perhaps he doesn't see anything because he doesn't exist? Your questions rely upon the premise that an "organization" is or is not approved. Who said there is an approved organization? Perhaps individuals belonging to many organizations (or even no organization) are approved?
I have the following tag on my personal e-mail: "The questions you ask set limits on the answers you will find. Temple Grandin" For 47 years I have conflicted with the WTBTS because I ask questions. Interestingly, it was my asking some simple questions regarding human motivation that ellicted your and Lawrence's hostile responses. Again, that seems more JW to me than not.
My guess is you don't want to suffer the punishments that are meted out to anyone who leaves the organization, so that is why you are still an official JW right now.
Absolutely correct, AND I am unrepentant in my stance. I am a social person; I like to worship with others. It makes me happy. I enjoy the individual friends I have at the KH; they are good people. I do distinguish them from JW leadership. I do not want worship somewhere where they celebrate Christmas. I do not want to worship where they ask for whom I am going to vote.
You do not see it that way and have left. I do not have an issue with your decision; why do you have an issue with mine?

Thank you for your concern kid-a. Regarding the resolution, I was unable to attend that portion of the District Convention...scheduling difficulties.

Go get your approval from liars, cheats, and whores (spiritual) and recognize the fact as Moshe said, even if one non-brain dead soul gets the point then that is good.
My dear Mr. Lawrence, et.al., that is where you err. I do not seek approval from the KH (feel free to review my post history)... or you.
However, you have re-emphasized my point. Putting a Christmas card on the door of KH will not open any JW's mind. They will probably deduced who placed the card there, and that will be "evidence" of what the Bible says...'apostates can't just leave--they come back to beat-up their former brothers.' It may prove to be very counterproductive, since this is past event of which most all JWs are aware. My personal opinion it that it doesn't have the same effect as information regarding the UN, the Tort of Misrepresentation or child abuse...but that is just my opinion.
Now juni's post I get...just to stir-the-pot. Sure, sometimes that's fun.
Justitia, since you say you are not an apologist for the JW's, then I expect to see you express your own opinion at the meetings in the KH. If you can't do that , then you are an apologist by default.
Dear Moshe: That is classic JW black and white thinking (fallacy).
Good day all!

Hello AK-Jeff:
I find experiences such as your interesting. While I am an active JW, I am by no means an apologist. Please don't take this as attack, as it is not meant to be. I am seeking to understand human motivation.
Can you answer why you did what you did? If am am correct in my understanding of your posts, you no longer want to be a JW. Why would you care to place a Christmas card on the door? I understand those who are trying to "get out the message" on the child abuse issue. But, why did you bother with a card?
The brothers and sisters don't care about you or what you are doing. Why do you care about them? They are not thinking of you, and they are not emotionally invested in you. Why are you still expending emotional energy on them?
Actions such as these will not cause anyone to "think." Just about everyone knows JWs used to celebrate Christmas; doing away with such 'vestiges of false religion' is one of their bragging points.
You, of course, are not the only one who has posted about doing such things. But, you express yourself well, and I am hoping for some insight.

we had my mum and dad down for a meal at the weekend.
me and mum have a kind of 'unspoken truce' going on where neither of us raise an issue in conversation that will lead to a discussion on any jw sensitive topics.
it's not perfect and it doesn't always work but at least we are maintaining a relationship of sorts.. anyway, knowing that this is the 'blood card' time of year i did take the chance on asking mum just what her personal stand on blood and fractions would be.
Sorry for the double post...
She is saying 'No' to everything. All blood, all components, fractions and products. This is simply because, in the face of so much intimidating and confusing rhetoric she has retreated to a position she can understand - just say no.
Nicolau:
I feel your pain. After the Thursday night meeting, a very dear friend of mine said precisly the same thing. My friend said that she just can not understand "this stuff" and she is "afraid of sinning." ...sigh. I am increasingly suspicious that this might be the WTBTS's goal. They certainly could have presented the information in a more easy-to-understand format...perhaps a chart like JW Facts.

if anybody is interested , i've posted the outline for this talk in the following post:.

Sadly the older folks will refuse all these fractions and options because it is just too complicated.
Unfortunately Balsaam's words are proving true. After the meeting, a dear older sister looked at me in total confusion and commented that she just does not understand "this stuff," so she is just going to say no to everything. ...very sad.

i have been researching similar religions (christadelphians, church of god, sdas.
mormons, bible students) and just posted a new section at http://www.jwfacts.com/index_files/similar.htm.
below are comments from mormons and x mormons that i found on the internet.
Excellent work as usual JW Facts. Here is the Seattle Times article on Mormons and DNA
